Rebuilding a brake cylinder vs buying a new one, is it worth it? how much work is it really? find out right here https://youtu.be/wSZ5EqfRpwY
A few weeks ago I did a video about changing out your brakes. in the process of putting new pads on one of the brake Cylinders burst and brake fluid was shooting out.
I replaced the cylinder with a new one, then I started to wonder what would have been better? buy a new cylinder which in of itself was relatively cheap, or spend the time rebuilding the existing cylinder. I went online as with all my video's and looked up how to do it then found some tips on forums that I thought were cool and unique ways to accomplish this task especially honing the cylinder. I then decided this would be a good first time task for me. If you like this video I have more work that I've done on the S-10 here.
